In 1998 HDS Australia achieved third party certification for its quality system operating under ISO 9001:1994. Consistent with the principles of continuous improvement, our quality assurance system has evolved and continues to evolve, and has achieved re-certification to the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
BSI Group recently undertook a surveillance assessment of the HDS Australia Quality Management System (QMS), as part of the regular upkeep of our ISO 9001 certification. The surveillance assessment involved visits to both the South Australian and Victorian offices by BSI Group to meet with HDS Australia staff and review documentation related to the QMS and various projects.
The surveillance assessment found that HDS Australia’s QMS “complies with the main requirements of ISO 9001:2008…” and there "...was a high level of management commitment to maintenance and improvement of the QMS as an integral component of the business operations”. We are pleased that this recent assessment has confirmed that our QMS is effective and that it will continue to facilitate the delivery of quality outcomes for our clients.
A further Recertification Assessment will be undertaken in 2016 in conjunction with the transition of our QMS to the new ISO 9001:2015 standard.
