HDS Australia is currently undertaking the final design of the Neil Avenue Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS) on behalf of the Light Regional Council. The 29 properties on Neil Avenue are classified as rural living and back onto vineyards and pasture land on the western outskirts of Nuriootpa. Council is seeking to improve compliance of the on-site septic systems and minimise any contamination risk to the adjoining agricultural lands and the nearby Greenock Creek catchment.
The proposed design is a cost effective approach which will collect effluent from the septic tanks and transfer it by gravity drain along Greenock Road to a connection point with the Barossa Council’s existing CWMS network. The site survey has already been completed and design is expected to be complete by December 2015.
